As a counselor in our Co-ed Partner Dance activity, you’ll teach the oldest boys and girls how to dance with a partner. You’ll also help the campers learn a large group dance for the RV/SV dance later in the session.
As a camp counselor at Vista, you can sign up to lead, or assist an activity. If you’re experienced you may sign up to lead; if you don’t have prior experience we’ll train you so you can assist.
The Role of a Camp Counselor
As a summer camp counselor you will have responsibilities in your activity areas and the greater camp program. Your positive attitude, diligent supervision, and servant-leadership are instrumental in making camp safe and fun!
Counselors at Camp Rio Vista for Boys and Camp Sierra Vista for Girls serve as big brothers and big sisters to our campers. You will be the grown-up kids ages 6-16 are looking up to while they are at camp.
