Staff Training

We Teach You How to Be a Camp Counselor!

We want you to have an amazing summer. We are here to support you, answer questions, and show you how it’s done.

Before camp you will receive online training, followed by hands-on training when you arrive at camp. In addition to activity specific training, you will spend several days getting to know your fellow counselors and learning all about how we do things at Vista Camps.

We also offer the opportunity to become an American Red Cross certified lifeguard, ropes certification, as well as training in our shooting sports (archery, riflery, and trap)!
